Beyond the classroom, our students have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of school-sponsored activities.
Our academic program is further enriched by extracurricular programs and experiences.
We typically offer basketball and cheerleading starting in third grade.
Clubs change annually according to student and teacher interest. We encourage students to initiate clubs.
Field trips offer a chance for students to learn outside the classroom. Our students go on teacher-guided excursions each year such as the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Additionally we bring performing groups to the school to expose students to new and diverse cultural or educational experiences.
CMSD residents: Students in grades K-6 living 1-5 miles from Chapelside Cleveland Academy may benefit from free bus transportation provided by Community Bus Services. Families must apply for this service by filling out the Transportation Request Form and turning it in to the School Office. If you are trying to locate a bus en route, please contact 440-337-4376.
Free Breakfast and Lunch
Healthy bodies fuel healthy minds! All students are eligible for free breakfast and free lunch each school day as part of the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program. Each healthy meal is prepared on campus and includes protein, fruits, vegetables, whole grain products, and milk. Throughout the week, we also offer fresh fruit and vegetable snacks in between meal times.
